About
I’m a full-stack developer and AI architect based in West Linn, Oregon, just outside Portland. Terrabyte Technologies is my solo, bootstrapped software studio — no investors, no sprawling team, just one builder who cares a lot about getting the details right.
Over the years I’ve shipped production web applications, e-commerce platforms with real point-of-sale integrations, native Apple apps, and private AI agents that run entirely on local hardware. That last one is where I spend most of my energy: practical, on-premises AI that gives businesses automation without handing their data to a third party.
I work the way I’d want someone to work on my own business — honestly, carefully, and with an eye on the long-term cost of every shortcut.
Terrabyte is a pun I couldn’t resist: terra, the earth — grounded, durable, real — meets terabyte, the unit of modern computing. It captures what I try to build: software that’s technically serious but still feels grounded and human. A little Pacific Northwest in spirit — clean air, not flannel.
Philosophy
I take on a handful of engagements at a time so each one gets real focus. Fewer projects, done properly, beats a backlog of half-finished work.
AI doesn't have to mean shipping your data to someone else's cloud. I deploy local models on hardware you own, so sensitive information stays in your environment.
Thousands of automated tests across my projects aren't a vanity metric — they're how solo-built software stays dependable as it grows and changes.
